Yikes, msbelle!
Maybe a little salt as well?
I think it was mostly dehydration. I've got two glasses of water in. That's probably the closest I have come to fainting in many years. do not like.
Is anyone watching The Race?
You knew I was right? Ah Memorial Day.
So close your eyes and visualize - me in a cape, with fangs in my head, loving a guy who's mostly dead. I don't see him often, 'cause he sleeps in a coffin. Nothin' could be zanier than life in Transylvania!
Signed, from memory; I loved Really Rosie, too.
For many reasons, not the least of which is my enormous control issue, but fainting is on the very top of my do not want list.
Hope you are feeling stable now.
Why do I only remember Pierre from Really Rosie?
Hahah, Cass. I was all, hmph, no one is watching. Well, I bet Cass is, anyway. And of course you were. It was a good race! Even though it ended under caution; that last wreck was spectacular, as those things go. And I thought Dan had enough to take him at the end there if not for the yellow.
And sheesh, msbelle. Dehydration is bad. Rest up.
The SO impulse bought a giant ass grill. Well, responsibly impulse bought, as he`d saved his spending money. So we are having a classic Memorial Day weekend, watching the race and grilling out.
Why do I only remember Pierre from Really Rosie?
Oh, I love Pierre! In second grade, Ben's class did songs from Really Rosie for their play, and Ben got to play the lion. He was thrilled.
You remember Chicken Soup with Rice, don't you? "In January it's so nice, while slipping on the sliding ice ..."
We had a surprise guest at our backyard cookout - an escaped parrot! At first we thought it was one of the wild parrots you see in the park every now and then, but it flew down from the telephone wire and right into our party. It landed first on my neighbor's mom's head, then my neighbor Jack, my neighbor Meema, then me, and then finally on my neighbor's stepdad, where it stayed. It was clearly a lost pet - it had a band on one leg and was obviously used to being around people. It didn't speak, but was very affectionate.
We posted on the local Yahoo group that there was a lost parrot and gave my cell #, and when we didn't get an answer after about an hour and a half we called a local animal rescue who got there in about 5 minutes and took the bird away in a cage. I really hope the owner finds it!
