We're supposed to get an amount of rain in the next 24 hours that is almost half what my hometown gets in a year.
Made sure all the paper goods were off the floor in my basement where I sometimes get small puddles...
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Papa Murphy's BBQ Chicken Thin Crust is a win. Nom.
I've made three karate group classes in a row! Woot. And I signed up for sparring in the upcoming tournament.
Congrats, SuziQ!
Smart thinking, sarameg. I'm sometimes really thick about paying attn to the weather forecast.
I need to make something for dinner that uses up a lot of vegetables. I guess I could make soup and work out some stress by chopping vegetables with a giant knife.
Do you mean I-70?
I-80 is boring but I-70 is a nightmare of switchback freeway notorious for traffic jams at inconvenient times.
Suzi, rock on, you!
Timelies all!
Ugh, my drive home from my appointment sucked majorly. What usually takes 30-40 minutes took nearly 2 hours. All thanks to an accident on the 270 spur that caused traffic to back up on the beltway for miles. The traffic report said that the 270 spur was closed, so I took a different road, which was seriously backed-up. We went out for pizza when I finally got home.
That is a day that calls for pizza.
So I got a massage tonight at a place that bills itself as thereputic.
I'm not sure what that means? Though I guess the only time I didn't tip on a massage was when I went to a place my doctor told me to go, and they also did physical therapy and stuff. I figured I wasn't supposed to tip, there. But I also never went back because I felt weird about the whole thing, and it wasn't actually covered by my insurance.
I AM excited because I found the mall north of me has one of those walk-in cheap chair massage places where they really go crazy on your back. Faboo!
Spent the day with my friend who just had a baby, talking about wedding plans. She's thinking about Eureka Springs (Matt, thinking about the Crescent for the reception) and check out this amazing, amazing chapel I had never heard of: [link]
It is seriously beautiful. She didn't want a church, wanted outside, but said that this changed her mind on it. I can see why. She's thinking October, which is beautiful in Arkansas.
I hope she goes with Eureka Springs. I love it, and it would be such a fun pretty wedding.
