Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In whiny news, I have a cold. And a full afternoon of meetings tomorrow. And a wedding on Saturday! I'm hoping going to bed early tonight will cure me, because if it doesn't, I will be pissed. And possibly calling in sick on Friday, which seems like cheating, somehow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I now have an appointment with a sleep specialist. And my migraine guy has discovered I have a special needs file at the ER, and is going to look into it. I hope for juicy resolution.

Hey Perkins!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Hey, there, Perkins!!

We are getting serious serious rain.

I ended up driving home last night in our serious serious rain. A few miles from my apartment, a business had half of its roof blown off. No tornadoes, just a microburst, but the wind clocked in at 75 mph at one point.

Perkins! Yay for being boring post-op!

There is a NYT op-ed that is making me seethe today. I can't imagine what Lily Ledbetter must be feeling.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I just went and said wah-wah-wah to my coworkers, and one of them gave me peppermint tea, in a real mug! This is especially good since I just learned on Fresh Air last week that the only thing that actually shortens the length of a cold is sympathy!

Because books.

I hope for juicy resolution.

I'm not sure what that means in this context, but it sounds good.

Hey, Perkins!!!!
