Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

"I could care less" means exactly what I mean it to mean. I could care less. A little bit. But I don't. I figure it's always implicit in my tone.

I would think it would be implicit, but I've always heard it said by people who I'm sure actually meant "I couldn't care less."

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Could someone please buy this for me?

Heh. I was just admiring that a day or two ago.

And make it so it goes off when my cellphone rings?

How about a Dalek who says, "Exterminate!" when your phone rings?

Punishingly Intricate

Good luck with dressing, ita. I hear that pain. I have so few options and today I'm wearing pants that I like but I'm pretty sure they are too tight. Fortunately I rarely see people throughout the day. And my shirt should cover the worst of the too tightness. I hope.

Star Trek Enterprise Pizza Cutter

When Scotty buys everyone in Engineering pizza for a late night work session, do they cut it with a phaser? Of course not! “The right tool for the right job!” quips Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott. Instead, he uses a shiny pizza cutter shaped like the Enterprise herself!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

My sweet Taz cat is at the vet getting his teeth cleaned. He has to go under anesthesia for that, poor fella. Hopefully this will be good for the long term so we don't have to worry about tooth extractions in the future, as long as we can work out a way to do brushings at home.

I just hate leaving him at the vet for the day. And he's such a good boy!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Aww, poor Taz. I get Amarna's teeth cleaned every three-four years, because she won't sit still and have me brush her teeth for her. (Heck, she won't let me trim her claws and only reluctantly lets me brush her.)

How are you doing the antibiotics? The first time I had to deal with it, it was liquid form, twice a day, which she hated but grew resigned to. The second time, just to save her the stress of having to freak out over me grabbing her to shove a dropper into her mouth, I went with the extra $30 and had them give her a shot. Much less hassle!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I would think it would be implicit, but I've always heard it said by people who I'm sure actually meant "I couldn't care less."

That's why it's idiomatic! Figures of speech don't have to make logical sense.

ION, I may have to kill someone today.

Oh hey, and there's a fire drill starting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And today's sartorial ward against the evils of the fog of insomnia has been achieved with the long leather skirt. And five dangly earrings. Hopefully that's enough to keep me alert but not too much to aggravate my head.

I wonder what my migraine specialist will say about the reduced sleep...well, off to see him now.

I don't know anything about antibiotics, is this something I'll need to do after teeth cleaning? It's our first one.
