Tracy: Well-- That call -- That call means you just murdered me. Mal: No, son. You murdered yourself. I just carried the bullet a while.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm so glad for you and mac.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, great news, msbelle.

Last convo with a stranger I had was initiated by me--geekchecking Elevator Guy, but it happens fairly often that people from other companies at work talk to me in the elevator. And folk in stores.

Salespeople flirt, but my assumption is that it's part of their schtick and not anything with motive beyond sales.

Ah, French Open, I love thee.

I have no idea what linden smells like.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

So we finished putting in the big art installation at work for our big fundraiser, and the ED asks me what I think of it. I straight up tell her that I don't like them, although I don't elaborate on the numerous reasons why (and why should I, since the artist wasn't chosen because she was good, but because she's married to a politician who can give us money, and it's not like I'm saying this to his face or that the ED would risk repeating the opinion of a serf).

She responds, "Oh, you don't like art?"

Seriously?

Msbelle, that's wonderful news. Hope there's a lot more of that kind of decision making this weekend!

I wouldn't mind some flirting tomorrow night... Honestly, it's been a long time. Even spending more time amongst the humans as I have, it's just not been that situation. Buncha single women or couples. I'm not complaining, I love it, just doesn't lend itself.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yeah, the only response I can think to that Juliebird is, "Oh, no. Art I love. This I don't."

It is a linden tree. I just never knew they smelled.

Linden is one of my favorite scents. I used to wear Annick Goutal's Eau du Ciel, and it was so delightfully linden-y.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She responds, "Oh, you don't like art?"

Ah ha ha ha.

I wouldn't mind some flirting tomorrow night...

I'm weighing wedding vs. local, and am not sure what the future will hold for you!

It's quite...pungent. It's not a bad smell (I like honeysuckle) it's just that I am predisposed to spicy, not sweet, not sweet. And this is very, very sweet. And distracting.

sarameg - May 29, 2010 4:50:22 pm PDT #2546 of 30001

Jesse, yeah, plus a lot of people I work with. And I don't do that. So. Eh, some flirting won't hurt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And a lot of people you DON'T work with, presumably! Good times.
