If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's awesome, Kathy.

Punishingly Intricate

Rat goes skittering down the alley and into someone's garage (shudder.) Did he notice it? NO. LOKI FAIL. Damnit. I kinda want to take my cats out to pee to deter the rodents

AIEEE. The WORST part of city living (that, and the crime). We have an awesome alley cat (the Mayor) who, I swear, has been basically single-handedly keeping the rat population on my block down. I've seen way fewer since he's been around. And he's a friendly guy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Liese, I think veggies are generally hard on the tum, sometimes. And I know vitamins are! Have a nice piece of bread or some rice...

Yeah, I can see how girl pee might be generally less attracting to guys than steak. If it`s not, I don`t wanna know.

Depends on the guy!

Rats, yuck. You would think cats would keep them out of the house, at least....

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I love my surgeon's liaison! I was just saying how I was going to call her this afternoon after contacting my PCP for her letter of support, and out of the blue, I get a phone call from her saying that they just got the psych eval results (definitely a candidate for bypass), and I told her about my sleep study last night. She reminded me about the PCP's letter and getting to a support group meeting, and then told me that if I could get the letter this week, she can start the insurance approval started before the weekend.

Yay!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Are people here annoyed by the usage of the sentence "I could care less"?

Punishingly Intricate

Are people here annoyed by the usage of the sentence "I could care less"?

YES! Because it is incorrect and doesn't make sense.

Because books.

Kathy, that's awesome.

Are people here annoyed by the usage of the sentence "I could care less"?

I am. Because it doesn't mean what people seem to think it means.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Are people here annoyed by the usage of the sentence "I could care less"?

Quite so.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't mind things that don't make sense.

But then, where I come from "So don't I" means the same thing as "So do I." So there you go.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So, my mom is over here to help me with house chores since the place is a disaster. It's nice, but also making me on edge because I am a control freak mcfreak freak. Thus far, I have managed to stay in one room and not go and help (in order to make sure things are done as I like). I am trying to zen out and realize that any organization and cleaning is better than none.

ION - My neck and back are sore from pulling weeds last night. I plan to do more tonight. My yard is my gym.

IOON - I have already cleared a few work things out of my pile and that was before any coffee. Today may redeem yesterday.
