I mean, I knew that about Detroit. I lived there. I read the articles. I got the stares. But every time I see the pictures it makes me so sad.

I'm actually impressed that MexicanTown shows up on the Detroit map. I thought it was an exercise in hype and restaurant marketing. I can't work out Dearborn though.

My neighbors are completely mixed, which is why I love my hood so, so much. I will say that they're all middle class, though - so it's not mixed in that way.
