We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Random Capitalization sounds different (you know, when the voice in my head reads it aloud to me) from bold and italic. So I assume they all mean slightly different things.

Random Capitalization means Things of Import.

Bold means said forcefully.

Italic means... sarcasm maybe?

ALLCAPS ARE PADDYWHACK OR HULK OR MY INNER 13 YO.

YemphasisMV.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ita, not just any 9 year-old....Willow Smith! Really annoying song.

OMG, what?

Yeah, absolutely. Pooh Case should be a Very Specific way of emphasizing Certain Things.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Some people try it, because they think it will make them lose weight.

I would still classify that under medical reasons. Misguided, perhaps, but still not quite on the same playing field with a vegan/vegetarian/all-organic/etc diet.

Even at the extreme whackjob end of the fad diet spectrum, you don't get people with "WHEAT IS MURDER" sandwich boards chaining themselves to threshing machines - I'm just having a hard time imagining why anyone would think that someone else's GF diet means that they're morally opposed to, say, bread.

I can only conclude that I do not understand people.

(And boy howdy do I know about misguided pseudoscientific diets. I used to babysit for a woman who presented me with a mile-long list of things her daughter was "allergic" to, but every single symptom was along the lines of "Jane will be hyperactive tonight because last week I let her try some yogurt and she's allergic to dairy." No lady, Jane will be hyperactive tonight because she has ADHD and instead of taking her to a doctor you've put her on this crazy restricted diet PULLED OUT OF YOUR ASS.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Pooh Case is grammatically incorrect and does not belong in business communication. You aren't going to shake me of that.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

sumi, I'm no expert but when I've paid attention, I've seen that it is the nouns that are capitalized in 18th c. English language writing so I do believe that's a holdover from English's German roots.

Happy birthday, Sue!

I'm already starting to look forward to visiting the Bay Area in 10 days. I really need to get productive here and not just stay in limbo because I hate it here and I'm going someplace nicer in 10 days, though...

Oh, I have totally different rules for business communication vs posting here. Pooh Caps in a business email would be inappropriate.
