Dog is still passed out cold from yesterday. Score! We got home at 8 last night and she hasn't left her bed since.
We went to watch the game at a friend's and they live on a farm, sort of. Well, they have a big barn and horses and hay fields and stuff. Also a big hyperactive dog. The dogs went crazy tearing through the barn and the horse pasture and the hay fields all afternoon, body checking each other into a tumble every so often and then tearing off again. Too funny.
She is still distinctly horsey-smelling though, which I will need to figure out a way to deal with soonest.
Gah, Stephanie, what an asshole.
Amyth, you and your family are very much in my thoughts.
I'm waiting to be fingerprinted so I can start subbing in an actual classroom!! Woohoo!!

Let the molding of impressionable minds begin.
Thanks for the birthday greetings.
Am halfaway through giant pain au choclat. It is covered in powdered sugar. There is no way to eat this gracefully.

I love love love taking Frankie to play with his BFF Roscoe. He sleeps forEVAH after that. Roscoe, being a boxer, is still hyper as shit. And that is why, though I love boxers, I am happy with my mellow mix of a dog.
And, jinx. Now I have to put on outside clothes and take her out.

Seriously. Vader is like more than twice her size and crazy rambunctious, and she kept up with him 100%. (Actually, toward the end of the day he kept trying to lie down and she kept poking at him.) But once we get home she mellows out considerably, and I'm pretty sure that's not the case for Vader.
Happy birthday, Sue!
Smooth surgery, Perkins.
Software went live successfully over the weekend. That's 6K users right there. I wonder how long we'll be holding our collective breath...
Now I have three October site launches using a new back end, which should be nothing in comparison.
