Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

However, if anyone's going to be there, and wants to keep an eye out...

Remind me in July.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'd have to immediately own up to the "not really that much into gaming" thing... and the "having never dressed up and gone to a con" might disqualify me from true geekdom in some eyes....

There's more than one kind of geek.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yep, "The Body."

It's so painful to watch that anything in my life going on seems not so bad.

I only pull that one out rarely. It's not pleasure viewing. It's like castor oil.

OMWF is more the usual thing, as it is more actively cheerful (in comparison).

Hmm. I think geek self-labeling is self-identication. I mean, there will always be an Elevator Lady, who will pull "Geekier Than Thou" card, but I think geekery contains multitudes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

there will always be an Elevator Lady, who will pull "Geekier Than Thou" card,

On the flip side, there's always someone to point at to say, "At least I'm not like them ...."

Somewhere, someone will always say something.

It's my new koan.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

SO TRUE.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Well, I went to my mini-mart, and it turns out that all those police things were because a 7 year old jumped off the pier and drowned.

Very sad.

My non-fannish, non tv-watching uncle stopped while flipping channels to watch The Body because he was so mesmerised by how well it portrayed the feeling when a parent died.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Browsing the profiles I most strongly felt a lack of gaming and anime/manga consumption.

Have blister on my heel. Up side is...bandaid! I finally get to wear one of my duct tape bandaids. Which I almost couldn't find...and the Hello Kitty were the only other ones I wanted to wear and they're too small. Duct tape! I love bandaids. I must have 15 different kinds.

Remind me in July.

I totally will. CC would make my brain explode, but thank dog that doesn't apply to everyone.

I watched it again this week. (Yeah, bad week.) It's always mesmerizing.
