Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Everyone else - of the few who turned up today - has gone. I had a couple of things to clear up - including a message I should have sent out first thing this morning - and here I am ... playing with my Buffistas.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I had masses of prison labor to crunch out this morning and then two early-afternoon meetings because OMG EVERY ONE OF MY USERS sent me that "oh, I'm leaving town on June 1, so can we meet THIS WEEK?" email like, two days ago.

All of which means that there was no way was I going to take today off, but then it completely died dead dead dead as soon as the last meeting was done. Srsly, I'd rather have just had the day off and no "must do this before I go to Paris for two months".

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Here's a video of him reacting to hearing for the first time

He did a spittake! Sort of. Very cute. His parents must have been so thrilled.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Another mood-altering thing I tried was a cartwheel. I think I might have pulled something. Oh, my long-past youth. Also, WTF? Why am I cartwheeling at work? I'm losing it.

Out of town friend got back to me. Good. Of course, he's staying downtown and is here during the work week, but it's a start. Bah. Revolve around me, would you?

British PhD Student Studied Jack the Ripper, Then Killed Like Him. They note that he kept lizards and shopped on Amazon, like that makes it more likely he'd be a serial killer.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

If you look at the other two vids of his left ear being activated, he does the same "spit the binky out" move when he gets aural stimulation.

Comment on the Jack the Ripper story:

Well it's nice to see Leo Johnson going back to school to try to get something better than driving a big rig.

If you have to give yourself your own moniker, you're not even a cool serial killer. For shame.

Wait, we're back to cannibalism? He's gonna give it a bad name.
