Our wings are not tired

I will just be happy to get back home to Los Angeles for a couple of weeks. This winter/spring has involved altogether too much time away from my beautiful wife and wonderful home.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But of course your source code is totally thoroughly documented, right?

Yep. Stuff that's weird and not obvious, anyway.

My boss's stored procedures, OTOH....

But it's really up to the client. They could pay us for us to do documentation, but they prefer to hire someone to come hang out with us and do it. But then, they're having my other boss do documentation for the big program he developed and maintains, so I don't really understand their logic.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

But you may tell yourself, "This is not my beautiful wife." And you may tell yourself, "This is not my wonderful home."

Just the other day, I said to myself, "Where is that large automobile?"

Ok, have some thunder. Not really mollified.

Well, I'm pretty certain it is my beautiful wife, and the large automobile is in the Nick Hotel parking lot, since Hertz upgraded me to the Canyonero Lincoln Navigator.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love my team. I do. I'm just recovering from insane inconsistent documentation managed by my predecessor.

Stuff that's weird and not obvious, anyway.

Hmmph. Not that I'm a great documenter myself, but I really hate reading other people's code. With a passion. My idea of obvious and theirs never seems to coincide.

Application of Leverage is proceeding apace. Very therapeutic. I really want to see Eliot Spencer get into a bar brawl--alongside anyone. Alongside me. Alongside my krav buddies. Alongside the Winchester brothers. Thing of beauty.

And my Hardison water bottle arrived too. I'm all geeked out.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Just the other day, I said to myself, "Where is that large automobile?"

Sheeeit, don't tell me you forgot where you put the Lincoln.

Heh. No, it was a rhetorical asking-myself....

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

ita, the official store now has "We Blow Shit Up" merch, according to Rachel Olshan. I haven't looked. I can't spend any more money.

Did you see the video clip where Kane says there are more fights this season? MOAR FITES. I'm gonna edit three more papers quickly and then go back to watching S2 with drunken commentary. I need a vacation, and this is the closest I'm gonna get.
