"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I often am guilty of VPN at yoga. V, a woman I practice with, never has that problem because she clearly doesn't wear underwear at yoga at all. This is clear because she also wears tights that thin out, as tights do, when stretched. I find that more distracting than VPN.

I think the Venus Williams French Open outfit is just tacky. I think the can can thing might have been better if the bottoms were red. I am also irked at her, "I didn't know how well it matched my skin tone" argument that she used when Serena showed her pictures because she used the same argument at the Australian Open. She may not have realized it once is plausible. But not realizing it twice means she's either a liar or stupid.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Has anyone ever wanted to learn how to pick a lock? There's this "hacker space" in Chicago that's gonna do a class on it next week: [link]

Maybe I'll go.... It could be a useful skill during a zombie apocalypse or natural disaster or something.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They have that around here, too! I was interested.

Because books.

Has anyone ever wanted to learn how to pick a lock?

The Winchester boys know how!

Now let's see if I beat ita to it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hee. You totally beat me to it, Amy, but you didn't mention Sammy's special lock pick kit, so I will.

Anyone want to rent the top 2 floors of my next door neighbor's house until August 2011? $1.1K/mo. He's off to grad school, living in the basement apt on weekends with his 4 year old daughter.

Takers? Anyone? He's really cool and kid is sweet and makes awesome strawberry rhubarb cobbler?

Excuse me, CRISP.

Well, I wanted to save *something* for you.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

San Francisco style

As an actual San Franciscan, I must say: uhhhh...no. Maybe if they took out all the stone and the frilly curtains and quintupled the price, maybe.

Heh.

I should say, my neighbor hasn't told me of this renting thing. Which is funny, since he told me tonight about an upcoming awesome trip and again mentioned how happy he is I am his neighbor. I think he doesn't want to tell me (honestly, I'd only note the new people. With his job, I see him rarely except on weekends.) But I emailed him to ask if I could spread the listing at work. We get a lot of folks needing school year housing, and with 3 bedrooms at the asking, it's quite good.
