Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I have spent all day in bloomers and a tank top. I made a skirt! And window-shopped for more Motley Crue and Beetlejuice t-shirts. (It's a thing with me right now.)

I would like to return Seattle's summer weather to anyone who will take it. YES, PLEI, I know, we've barely had a summer. Don't care. Don't like this heat.

Jesse, you should see if there are mobile vets in your area.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maybe I can go after work Wednesday or Thursday, but I don't know how late the vet is open. Meh. He seems OK.

I went to the lake because it was hot, with friends. The lake was nice and cold. Friend brought floaty raft thing, and I laid on it and enjoyed the waves. Now I am home on the couch, and still feel the waves. Whoah.

It's not a lot all at once, but every couple of days for a while now. Now I wonder if it's related to the new food I got last time, out of laziness. I'll go get some of the previous food tomorrow and then we'll see.

In the meantime, Jesse, try giving him hairball crap. It might be that and won't hurt.

My hands keep cramping clawlike. Glad I decided not to put on more stripper tonight. I can do that tomorrow and give my hands a night off. What to tackle next....I could start on the spindles. I only aim to do one coat on them, since I'll just sand them smooth and paint white. One at a time doesn't seem like too much weeknight work. Though there are 52 to go....

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

We are watching Spartacus: Blood and Sand. I get the feeling that the characters who have my sympathy aren't the characters they want me to root for.

It's some of that, so I'm brushing him like crazy. And I can't get the hairball stuff into him.

Butter will work, too. If he likes that. Basically, anything that's a lube.
