"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It is possible I got a crap flavor. It was kind of an impulse thing. I tried to sip on it a while, but it was...I dunno, there was some sort of smell with taste combo that did not sit right with me. (I am like this a lot though. It's why I cannot drink Chai. The smell is not how it tastes).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In Turkey, I had some ayran, which turns out to be basically the same as salt lassi. I.e., NASTY. OMG. I love salty, but not that! OK, I shouldn't say it was nasty. I should say it was Not For Me.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's like me and coffee. I love the way fresh-brewed coffee smells! But I hate the taste, which doesn't make sense.

hwæt

Hipsters are shocked to hear you're supposed to take off your hat when indoors.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"If I'm wearing a hat and it's part of my look, I don't think I should have to take it off," he says.

Well, that is the rationale for women not taking them off, (isn't it?) so I don't know if I disagree.

I take my hats off indoors...

Why yes! I am avoiding all the work idiocy!

I didn't read the hat article... but are men still supposed to take off their hats when talking to women?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think it's polite to let them see your eyes.

hip deep in pie

I was out last week with my brother, SiL and nephew. My nephew was arguing that the restaurant we were in (a chain) didn't qualify as a place where you had to take off your hat to eat.
