Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

We only have 3 channels so far: Galaxy 500, Elvis Costello, and Dead Can Dance. I should probably add a jazz and a kid's music. Hmm, I bet a They Might Be Giants channel would fit that niche.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

The Pierces

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The DH, geek that he is, found a radio which allows you to set two alarms and has two attached clock/speakers, so we each have one on our side of the bed. I no longer have to sit up to see over him and squint to find out the time if I wake up in the middle of the night! I get up at 7 and he sleeps until 8 or so, so it works really well for us. And, yes, I get dressed in the dark every day.

Yep, I was right about TMBG.

hip deep in pie

I am really, really good at ignoring cats and sleeping anyway. I can pet a cat in my sleep. I can ignore meows and poking and kneading.

I can get up, feed the cats and get back to sleep with little problem.

Pandora rules! You gotta have a heavy hand with the thumb's down, though.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It is a strange and unsettling place. I haven't needed a return visit.

Hee! Once may indeed be enough. I am going to eat in the restaurant shaped like a hat! Maybe twice!

One thing about the job that's nice is I'll have time on my hands to practice my bass, write, and look for voiceover work (there is a fair amount in Orlando between video game companies and the mouse) AND it puts my depressive ass on a schedule (since R has to eat at certain times). I might even develop some ::gasp:: discpline.

Weird, huh?

Because books.

That's a good idea, Daisy. Thanks! I like The Pierces.

ita, I thumbs down songs all the time, but then I get bored and irritated that it's not Magically Reading My Mind and turn it off. I am not the most patient person on the planet.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac just started being a giant twit while we were out at one of the last sales we planned to hit, so I ordered him into the car and I hightailed it back home with the radio blasting on MY station and not a word to him. He has no idea how much we have all been accommodating him and curbing all of our own wishes, so he can just entertain himself a bit for the next few hours. I am going to get lunch and the rest of my work hours in and then we are running the errands I need to do. He can suck it up.
