Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

A pound a week is 500 calories less eaten or 500 calories more burned every single day. Maybe try to get a few snacks in. I am just worried because I know you are stressed and sad. That really takes a toll on the body too.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Suzi, want to see tattoo pics!

Eh, I have padding to burn, though I'd rather it be for a happy reason. And I've been nibbling on the work cookies this week (hormones. Swear, one week a month, I actually crave cookies,) so definitely not going short on food. I think my metabolism amps up when there's anything unusual going on. Which explains the last 3 years or so.

What is even happening?

Well, she said she's still all for Christ, just not extreme politically right-wing Christians. Hey, me too!

It's like she woke up in 2004. Get in line, Anne Rice.

Oh how I wish--at least then I'd get something out of being stressed--I'd be fine with being fat and happy! :)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

They're building a medieval fortress in Arkansas, using medieval technology. [link] And you can visit during construction (which will take years) and talk to the stonecutters and carpenters and blacksmiths and textile people and everyone about what they're doing.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Garage sale stuff all done. I have more stuff in there than I thought, for just bringing stuff to my friends yard sale. My car is PACKED. Granted, I am selling a TV, so that and the kid seat take up some real estate. I think M is going to have to clutch some clothes or something on the way over to my friend's; good thing it's only a few blocks.

My body deals with stress by nervous eating, and my metab is NEVER fast. So I get sad and fat. YAY.

Oh, wow, Hil, I have to go see that! That's only 30 minutes south of my friend's place where I had my bachelorette thing. I am SO going down this fall!

I totally want to visit the fortress. I just need to figure out what else I can do on the way to and from Arkansas, or maybe stop by there on the way to somewhere else, because I can't quite justify it as a trip by itself. Also, probably not until next summer, by which point I will probably have forgotten about it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac is asleep, things went smoother today. Tomorrow I need to run errands like woah, but I still have to get in hours. HATE. After next week I do not have to worry about these 5 hour days and sure, I won't get the pay, which is a biggish deal, but I can take a full day off without that meaning I lose insurance.

Tomorrow:

garage sales (want not need)
bank (need)
grocery store (need)
pay water bill (need)
drug store for meds (need)

Then phone tasks:

call insurance about hospitals/drs in area (need)
call old pharmacy to transfer some scrips (need)
call about family therapy appt for Monday (need)
call friend about coming to sit with mac if we get the Mon appt (potential need)
call management company about July maintenance (need)

aren't y'all glad my lists are back.
