Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yikes, Kat, that's a particularly rough 24 stretch. Hope everybody gets healthy quick.

Thanks for all of our well wishes. A fever that can't be controlled through the usual measures (tylenol, cold baths, popsicles, cool clothes) are scary to me.

The Grace pooh/vomit fiasco, is not particularly a sick, just a feature.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Kat, it sounds like you have had quite a day already. I'm glad Noah is feeling better, and I hope that your day improves significantly.

For long car trips I like lecture series from The Teaching Company, but my family usually outvotes me and we get music instead of, say, History of Religion in the Ancient Mediterranean World.

I have the Music and Opera ones out from library right now AIFG! I listen to them as I walk to work.

Stay strong, Kat.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Kat just reminded me I need to call my mom and apologize for being a twin.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad Noah's better! Fevers are scary. Way to poop, Gracie!

3 hours sleep last night and I wonder why I can't focus on work.

Upside to my morning! Appointment with the SSA has been rescheduled from Thursday to Friday which means my double booked DMV appointment on Thursday can work and I don't need to DMV today. YAY!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Someone (who knows nothing about the library) decided along the way that some of us didn't need all the access we had before, so I no longer have a library master key. I am the #2 boss person in the library. I no longer have access to a department I supervise, or to Tech Services (which I don't, but often need to go up there to find things).

you know, if I get the job at your uni, I can make sure that things like this don't happen. I mean, I realize that the library director needs a master key.
