If it's not a mandatory get-looked-askance-at-if-you-don't-go thing, maybe treat yourself to a quick dinner somewhere near the class, and just do that?

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ugh, ita.
On the vicodin, I just don't like the particular way it makes me feel not all the way there.
Perkins, may the Vicodin do you right.
ita, take care of yourself. You have limited spoons, you know.
Just realized I forgot to take my meds again, checked the pill caddy and it had been two days. Now waiting for them to kick in and take away the weird brain feelings. ::sigh:: Not batting very high on the adult scale, this week.
DJ, wanted to clarify that I'm happy to talk on the phone about PC. Just don't have energy to try and type it all out coherently.
Suzi, did you get my email last night, with the link?
I did but was asleep, then at work, I'm home now but about to go to the tattoo joint to get more work done on my back. BUT either when I get home or tomorrow (working from home) I will follow that link and wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Hope the Vicodin makes the pain go away, Perkins. I love the way V makes me feel. I call them my happiest pills. Same hope for you, ita, with different drugs.
I'm just going to have to admit I can't do this. I can't think of anything but running home. Not even the life class feels appealing, despite the spanking new huge sketch book (god, I love sketch books) in my car.
I like these people.
I don't have the spoons.
And tomorrow is a work day.
I'm off home.
As much as it sucks, I think that's the best thing.
So he not only earns it, but thinks his way through the process.
Bev, do you want a Nephlet. Actually, no, would you please, please, please take my sister and wallop her with this cluestick?
The glasses conversation makes me remember when I got my full-time glasses a year or two ago. I went over to a friend's place to hang out by the firepit and drink wine and I spent an inordinate amount of time with my right eye shut and looking at pine trees with my glasses and then without them. I'd had no idea until my eye exam earlier that day that my left eye was significantly worse.
Perkins, I hope the pain is managed and you don't regret the Vic. Ouchy mouth...
I'm sorry, ita.
As an Italian-American from New Jersey, I am proud to have Snooki represent my cultural heritage.
Snooki is not from Jersey. I don't think any of them are. (Nope, one is: [link]
I feel for the various Italian American groups and their TV protests. Sopranos was really pretty accurate and so is Jersey Shore. I think they'd be better off going with "hey, there is more to Italian Americans in New Jersey than mobsters and/or guidos" than acting like they're fictitious creatures. Get some Grandmothers out there cooking or something.
Of course, Sopranos always had other Italian Americans who weren't mob -- that was part of the drama. Dr. Melfi, Artie Bucco... I can't speak for Jersey Shore having never watched it.

Poor little sucker, having to get glasses. There aren't any pictures of me in mine before the age of 25 or so as I was the master of whipping them off whenever a camera appeared. Now I like them better -- this has nothing to do with heading out of my 30s and getting a few, um, lines...
I, too, remember seeing the leaves on trees. And I liked that part, but I was delerious when they finally let me get contact lenses.

Seriously? I only just heard that he got married. (Orlando Bloom, that is.)
