K and KL
I know who these people are, but it took me a minute to figure out which one was which.
KL isn't working for a NO firm, her office is based in DC. I would say K or T would probably have a good idea of NO business behavior.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

With my kids it was teaching them to separate want from need.
...still working on that meself.
Oh, no shit. Me too. Nothing like me reaching for something and one of my own kids asking me if it is a "need" or a "want".
I have a friend who leaves next month for PC service in Africa. What was complicated, if you don't mind my asking?
NOW YOU ALL KNOW HIS FULL NAME,
It occurs to me that you have used it before, because it didn't surprise me.
Man, I don't want to go to the work dinner thing tonight. Even though I was already leaving the dinner early, I was going to leave early to try the life drawing thing.
WTF was I thinking? Where would I get all that energy? Sheeit.
I know who these people are,
I SHOULD HOPE SO!
but it took me a minute to figure out which one was which.
Oh. Is KR's middle initial also L?
What was complicated, if you don't mind my asking?
Oh, man. Honestly, that is probably easiest covered in a phone conversation, just b/c it's complicated and rambly. Some of it's to do with PC, some with Moldova, and some with my personality and how I dealt with being in PC.
Really leaving now, I swears.
Of course, this may be a knee jerk reaction to people telling me to smile, because it enrages me.
"You don't tell me when to smile, and I won't tell you when to fuck yourself, okay?"
Matilda is still fairly charming in her statement of wants: "I wish to have..."
Oh. Is KR's middle initial also L?
It's not that, it's that I never use her middle initial for anything. It's my mom's middle name as well (she used to think it was after my mother), but it's the one that she goes by, so it's less confusing in my brain if it's just associated with one side of the family.
I didn't notice anyone post it--Maury Chaykin, RIP, on his 61st birthday.
From the Chicago Tribune's weather forcast:
A hot pattern coming together early next week could set the stage for organized thunderstorms.
What are "organized thunderstorms"? I picture a group of thunderstorms marching together and chanting, "Thunderstorms united will never be defeated!"
I've been watching too much Criminal Minds, because I'm thinking "An organized thunderstorm plans ahead, gathering up its energy and then striking in a planned fashion. A disorganized thunderstorm just swoops up whatever energy it can find in the atmosphere and descending in a blitz attack."
Actually, that's not too far off. Someone call the BAU--there's a serial weather system loose in the heartland!
