I suspect that LA's supermarket sushi is several grades above average compared to the rest of the country, and that TJ's suffers by comparison.

You know I love my family. BUT. We are having my grandmother's birthday on the beach this weekend, with bonus out of town relatives. So there will be 21 of us. Twenty-one! I said I would make this frozen pie, then I said I would make two, no problem. (It really is super easy to make.) But then there's transporting them and keeping them cold and etc. @@ And then my mother says they are leaving their house at 8:30!! In the morning!! On Saturday!!!! And do I want to spend the night. What I actually want is for them to pick me up, since they go more or less by my house on the way. If I have to leave my house at 7:45 on Saturday morning, I am going to be very sad.

We are headed to the aquarium today (do you think an otter will fit in the diaper bag?) and tomorrow I am meeting a friend at the zoo. Going back to work next week is going to be hard.

Don't have to be in until 12:30p. So I'm frittering. Fritter, fritter. Oh, look, there's the treadmill. And I have plenty of time, huh? OK, then. Going to get dressed so I can sweat. Yay?
I am sad. But will be OK! And then I will be on the beach with pie, and that doesn't suck.

I was up a big part of the night with Dillo, who had a wicked high fever after his shots yesterday. So tired. Somehow I feel everything would be easier if it would just cool off, weather-wise.
I set my alarm for the first time since moving and was up at 7. Mac and I did a little yardwork together. Now a shower and work.
