I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Trying to re-acclimate at b.org. Read the entire day's Natter but of course there are still tons of things I don't know. Treat me like an amnesiac...my memory's that bad anyway.

The short version of things is that after 25 or so years living in the SF Bay Area, disability/finances have forced me to move back in with my parents in South Pasadena. I'm still neck-deep in moving boxes and going through some of the most severe culture shock I've ever experienced. Still, there are good sides to it as well. There's a swimming pool so I can add that to my physical therapy. I'm getting to know some of my younger siblings better again.

I hope to dive back in to b.org, meet folks in the LA area, make new friends, concentrate on my music/art, etc. I sold my car 2 years ago so I'm mostly on foot/bike. Blew my knee out in June so I'm being cautious about even that for now.

South Pasadena is showing "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" as a free outdoor movie this Saturday at 8pm so if some folks want to get together for a little evening picnic that would be cool.

Hello again, Buffistae.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Good to see you again, Spidra! I'm sorry about the rough circs leading up to the move, but I hope it's a good restart for you in LA.

Spidra, it's nice to see you. Movies are a no go in our world, but we do go to South Pas frequently, mainly for the Farmers Market on Thursdays. Though not tomorrow, most likely.

Anyone want to see pictures from my trip today to The Mormon Sin City, West Wendover, Nevada, where cheap northern Utahns go to play?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks for the Inception fic recs. They are being slowly consumed, smonster. I also need to track down the BDSM Care Bears story. I find myself wondering all sorts of stuff. Do I know the source material well enough? Are they all the same gender? Will it be slash? Are they related? Will it be incest? What's the characterisation like? Is it crack? Angst? Torture porn? Short fic? My mind is boggled.

Now, reading the author's note, there is also non-con. Huh. But at least no mpreg or snuff.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Care Bears snuff would be hysterical, if possibly traumatic to those with childhood memories. Fluffy stuffing everywhere!

Hmm. It's not as sexy as I was expecting.

No, don't judge me. It's just that the care bears didn't really seem to get off on it much. There was the one sub, but he's not even been Dommed properly since it doesn't look like he can use his safe word, and apart from some random geometric jizzing, there's no lust. It's just punishment, and the sub gets the worst of it.

It's a rape rack, with torture and then cake.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Good to see your pixels, Spidra. I hope the move brings many many good things.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oh please is anyone still about who can help me? The pain and pressure in my ears is so bad. I don't know what to do to help it. I've tried using my saline rinse, but it's just made it worse. I've taken Advil Cold and Sinus and a Mucinex and nothing. Everything is echoy and my head is throbbing and I'm sitting here crying.

I swear I'll never wait this long nor choose to ignore any illness again for so long if someone will just let my ears pop and make the pain go away.
