Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

Cindy!

I've been mistaken for mom on the phone, but never by relatives. The Carol/Karen one is new. See, this is the thing about my dad: he keeps things close and reveals at the last minute. I've *never* known he thinks I sound like his sister. I've never known he thinks I resemble her And now? I do. (I am quite the mix of parental and maternal genes, though I do have more of the build of the paternal side. Just with maternal cheekbones and a mix of the noses-thank god!- and eyes no one in 2 generations has- everyone else is blue or brown).

My aunt is the spitting image of her mother (lower right) [link] (and in childhood [link] that was their immigration photo.)

Thank Cindy, yep we're in Texas now. I think we are down to less than 30 boxes (excluding the 28 that are my books) to unpack.

Huh, I forgot I'd uploaded this picture. My hs graduation: [link] My dad was actually saying cheese, hence the goofy.

Clearly, my eyebrows are from that side of the family.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Me and my 5 sisters all sound enough alike that my father could never tell us apart on the phone. Only one of my brother's daughters got the Sheller voice. It's very distinctive.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Does anyone else hate those Kia Soul commercials with the hamsters?

I actually love it! I think it's hilarious! Especially the hamsters in the washing machine and the toaster.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It eats my brain.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sits on Cashmere's corner.
