I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I meant to say earlier that I had pregnancy dreams and I blame it all on you people. Surprisingly enough, the me pregnant part was not the most disturbing part of the dream. In the dream this was treated as ok and fine, but OMG upon awaking. In the dream, an adult male friend was in a relationship/dating a 9 year-old boy and was also in process of adopting him. ?!?!? brain, WTF!?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think someone snuck extra hours into my day.

I am not amused.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh lord.

I just found my former high school BFF on facebook. I can't remember why we stopped communicating (college, I think). She looks exactly the same. And she works in a bookstore.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG. When I got out of my shuttle, it was raining a little, but I still thought I should walk the mile or so to the farmers' market, as opposed to taking the subway. This was a mistake. Fully fully wet. I think my umbrella was leaking, and I should wring out my skirt. And I have to go back out again?? I hope it will be done raining by then.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

?!?!? brain, WTF!?

Halloo!

Okay, I'm coughing so much I'm tearing up. Dry annoying cough. And the cough medicine is at home. My boss looked at me in sheer panic, so I had to kill myself not to cough more in his office.

She looks exactly the same

My British high school best friend looks exactly the same. It's really creepy. Not necessarily complimentary, but there you go.

So many of my friends from high school are so very conservative. And they look old.

Some of my university friends are starting to look old. But we hung out with people older than us then, so it's not hugely surprising.

What is surprising that one of the core four of us looks her age. Or, I suppose, it's weird that three of us don't. And the one who looks her age is not the married mother with the picket fence. It's the crazy live in Antarctica pretend to be on Mars one. You think all that madness would keep you young.

It is 175 degrees outside. Approximately.

This happened around the corner from my sister's place last night: [link]
