Oh, that's what those squash are called.
Most of my baby squash seem to be rotting off the vine. I guess they didn't get pollinated...at least that's what the internets told me was wrong when the same thing happened to pumpkins last year. I guess I will have to try pollinating if I can catch any open blooms.
OTOH I have lots of zucchini growing. It's so exciting to see things grow.
Patty pan squash
Those are edible? I thought they were purely decorative.
From a local on my Twitter feed:
"American friend also says most US west coasters have never heard of molasses."
Really?

Well at least am up at 7 to get some hours in early.
You can use pattypans anywhere you'd use zucchini - they're a mild summer squash. More pretty than flavor IMO.
Sue: I have some of those shoes! Well, this pair: [link]
Surprisingly Remix has very comfortable shoes.
Also, the molasses thing sounds wrong to me. I know what molasses is. Always have. But i'm not pure West Coast. Also, I use blackstrap molasses in Grace's blends almost everyday because there are so many good things like calcium and zinc. It always makes me think of winter holiday cookies whenever I open the bottle.
Kat, I think that's the pair that I love the most.
