Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Kat, I've been meaning to share a link with you. A fb friend of mine who I knew when she was in grad school here has a young son on a g-tube with cardiomyopathy, and she and her wife have been blogging about their experiences. They live in northern California. [link] Thought you might find it interesting or helpful. Jaime is super cool, and I only met Laura once but she seems to be as well.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Argh, some people......(I was trying to find a way to end that phrase that would aptly comment on the political douchebaggery happening, but couldn't.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

J update. She is sitting up in bed. Her husband and FIL shaved her head (I'm assuming the hospital had shaved just part for the surgery. Her sister gave her a foot massage.

Her MIL has been sending out the text updates. When I heard about the shaved head, I texted back "Should I send her my green wig" (J is a Giants girl). MIL texted back "Absolutely-in the spirit of your mama".

So, Kelly and I stopped at Party City and got a couple of cheep cheesy wigs - one green and one yellow. We also got a pretty princess pink boa (J's favorite color is pink). The boa is truly in honor of my mom. With all her hospitalizations she took to decorating her IV pole. Feather boas or plastic ivy (get it...ivy?) were her favorites.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Suzi, that rocks.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm finally home from the epic long car wash. All told, they took 4 hours to clean my car. It's scary clean. Too bad I'll have to ruin it by putting the kids' seats and the kids themselves in.

See, this is why I don't stress about things like washing the floor. It's just going to get dirty again! Looks clean-ish is good enough for me.

Jesse, I totally agree! But K was all hellbent on a nice clean car. We also had the oil changed two days ago and a smog check. She thinks the car feels lighter now.
