Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Next to those names Zorro and Squeaky Fromme are as nothing.

hangs head in name shame

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

It's gotten to the grab, cold, drab, foggy portion of a San Francisco summer in my neighborhood. (It's probably quite warm still in the Mission, downtown and North Beach.)

Not so much. (I love it.)

Speaking of which, megan walker was not lying about Haagen Dazs 5 Lemon ice cream. Lordy, if you like anything lemon flavored you must buy and consume this. So creamy and delish.

As my aunt likes to say, I'm not always right, but I'm rarely wrong.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have always wanted to name a cat Chairman Meow, but none of mine have ever seemed like that was their name.

I did have a friend who named her dog Virginia Woof.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I think Teppy needs this T-shirt: [link]

Well, boo. It's sold out.

Chenoa Azure Marshmellow-Puff

That's a mouthful! "Toke" is much easier.

And speaking of cats (note the graceful segue), I have one on my lap since I am home with a migraine that I think is actually a herd of miniature elephants trying to kick their way out of my skull. AWESOME.

Because books.

If we get another girl dog, I'd like to name her Kitty, I think.

hip deep in pie

I always wanted a cat named Bix Beiderbecke. Then I met the cat next door to me, named Oreo, and I soon realized that his true name was Bix Beiderbecke. His owner was very ill and they would often forget to let their cats in, so they would scratch at my window. Bix would come in, sleep and then get me to let him out at dawn. Pico didn't mind him in slightest, but wouldn't let his brother, Gary, in the house.

When his owner died, I wanted to adopt him, but I was waiting a suitable amount of time to ask, but he got adopted in the meantime. I often wonder what happened to him.

Awww. Bix!

I like the itty bitty kitty committee's resident cat's name-- Charlene Butterbean!
