It just started raining like CRAZY here. REALLY hoping it doesn't result in more basement flooding. Only one of the 4 plumbers we called after last week's flooding have even called back. WTF?

We didn't know about yesterday's lateness unitl the school principal called us today. And the nurse had the gall to tell the bus driver on her third pass "I told you I was going to be late today." whatever. Done.

So, my suitcase isn't under warranty, as it turns out. So I have to pay $35 to get it fixed, and $15 to send it back. I've already paid $15 to send it to the repair place, and I think this is another $15 to send it back. If it had been covered, they would have paid to send it back, I guess. But an equivalent new suitcase would be more than $65, so I can't decide what to do.
