Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

I enjoyed it but I was watching it with my BiL who thought it was about the stupidest thing he'd ever seen and laughed at stuff.

I saw it for free at the IMAX, and I'm still pissed off at that movie, so.

In other news, I'm looking cute today and my coworkers have already mocked me for dressing fancy. I called and scheduled a follow-up doctor's appointment and a prescription refill, and it's not even noon yet. Trophy, please.

Really loud helicopters. I assume they are part of the Transformers shoot on Wacker. Ugh.

Happy Birthday SA!

...and I'm still pissed off at that movie, so.

Why? I mean, I wouldn't call it the pinnacle of the art, but I thought it was enjoyable enough for someone like me who likes Sci-Fi.

Happy birthday, SA! Put some cake in your cakehole!

Racism, cultural appropriation, what the natives really need is a honky to save them, white guilt fantasy... and the fact that -- what's his bucket, Sam Worthington? -- has no charisma whatsoever: [link]

The truck got here at 8, the unloaders a little after. 3 guys. 2.5 hours to unload and assemble beds.

I can see that. I was watching more at the "pretty CGI" level.

Plus total DUH-stupid moments. Seriously, the trick to taming the uber-dragon-thing is to just FLY HIGHER? And none of the blue people thought of it before the white dude? Too dumb to live.
