Love Crash Mere.
Y'all are reminding me that I need a haircut, too.
Took Frankie to the lake with a friend and her boxer. Great fun. Frankie doesn't mind the water but doesn't like not being able to touch bottom, hopefully that will change. Unfortunately, stayed out too long and I am FRIED. Shoulders and upper back are lobstery and painful. Yes, I wore sunscreen, but I guess I didn't reapply enough. ::sigh:: Oh well.
Excellent, Crash mere. We need pictures!
Oh, I like Crash Mere!
People in the town where I live generally look like something you see on People of Walmart. For real.
Crash Mere is Awesome!
The hot weather blows. I got so upset I cried through half of yoga today. Not a good sign of a healthy mental state.
In high school my mom (hairstylist) cut my hair, and it always looked great - she knew exactly how it curled, of course, and knew how to cut it. After I left home, I grew it out to nipple-length (as long as it would grow, or it would've been longer). It was my hippie phase. It stayed that way, pretty much til I was about 40, mainly because I was used to myself that way, and I didn't trust anyone to be able to cut it right. Also, didn't have money for a high-end cut. When I finally did cut it short, I LOVED the cut - and then could never quite get that cut again, even from the same stylist (WTF), and I've never been entirely happy with anything that's been done with it since.
Part of the problem - maybe all of it, really - is that it thinned out considerably when I had that "thyroid unpleasantness", and it's never been as thick since, and I have a hairline now like a middle-aged guy, which I hate, and it can't really be covered up. So I'm doomed to discontent, I fear.
Crash Mere is awesome! :)
This LOLcat is maing me LOL!

CJ turns 14 on Wednesday (!!!!!). KCD gave him his present over the weekend. A PS3 with a few games.
I have resisted gaming systems for years. We have gotten a bunch of computer games over the years which the kids have enjoyed. Last birthday, KCD gave him a PSP and while CJ was addicted for the first month or so, then his playing balanced out.
We hooked up the PS3 this afternoon with Lego Harry Potter and have played for the last few hours. Yes, we. I played with CJ for a while and had fun.
This is a cool story. Guy sees refugee kids in Darfur playing soccer with a ball of taped trash. Decides to create an indestructible ball that can't be punctured or deflated.
The magic material? The plastic they use on Crocs.
Movers get here by 9am tomorrow! Possibly earlier! WHEE!
We got the frame for mac's new hi-lo bed up today. Put away all the temporary stuff my parents had brought over and we now have a thunder storm blowing in that is scaring the cats.
We both survived church and I even met some parents of kids mac's age. Good start.
