I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, I hope that goes as well as possible, Suzi.

That's a lovely necklace, Kat. The only thing holding me off is the asymmetry. Which is a lame reason, but any reason not to buy more jewelry is a good one.

My weekend work is not going well. The migration that was started yesterday is still running, which means we're way past all our time estimates today. FUCK. Kinda good thing I didn't go out on a limb and make plans for a tentatively open afternoon, but I still wanted to be able to look away from the work laptop. I'm not sure how one bills "on call" contract-wise. Boss will be startled.

not your mom's socks.

Good-outcome~ma to J, SuziQ.

... And also in a more binary manner for ita, it sounds like.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Lots of ~ma for J, Suzi.

Bad Colin!

I'm heading out to try skating for the first time in over 10 years. If I die, I'll know I'm not cut out for Derby.

Because books.

Don't die, Cash!

All kinds of good vibes going out to J, Suzi.

I just called someone a day early for her birthday and insisted I was right. Oops?

I'm about to storm his house and work from his poolside. This is pissing me off.

Is he even there? If not, totally storm away! Pools need to be used or, um, they don't feel loved.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm about to storm his house and work from his poolside. This is pissing me off.

If you're working from home anyway, I don't see why you wouldn't.

OK, my apartment is now not embarassingly dirty, although it is still a little messy. That can be handled in a minute. I am dripping with sweat and planning a shower.

Fuck it, you know what? I am going over and working from there. I don't know when exactly I'll have to log in and do actual work, but I can watch email from there as well as from here, and I can run my con call from inside his house.

Internet for the win, yeah?

Ugh, this still feels irresponsible. But it's his last weekend in town, and I can work from inside his house.
