Thanks Perkins. This is the gal who really supported me last year during mom's decline. I absolutely adore her (even though she is a Giants fan). I just feel so helpless out here.

Aw, Suzi, I'm sorry. Much ~ma for her, and for you all. You've had a tough weekend.
Ooh, Kathy, thanks! I read Precious Bane a few years ago at Hec's urging and loved it, and he has talked about the BBC production ever since.
Hmm. I should search YouTube and see if anyone's uploaded the BBC production of A Little Princess that's famous for being both true to the book (IIRC, it's Nilly's favorite version) and almost completely unavailable.
I hope everything goes well, for both of them.
Big ~ma for your cousin's wife, Suzi.

There is such a thing? I love that book, and have been so disappointed in the adaptations, although at least the Cuaron version has the depressive mood of the book.
Lots of ~ma, Suzi
Suzi, much ~ma.
Kat, I'm sure Lily would LOVE to see Actual! Factual! Three-D! Noah and Grace. She's a big Flickr fan of theirs.
Kathy, it's this one... I've never seen it, but a couple of years ago we were having a literary adaptations discussion, and Nilly raved about this version (I think maybe she had it on video and played it until the tape wore out) -- the handful of user reviews posted on IMDB are full of the same love (though, of course, less eloquent than Nilly's). Apparently it takes a crazy, risky, revolutionary chance and follows the plot of the book. And Sara has dark hair and is not cherubic and dimpled.
And, holy crap! Since the last time I checked a little over a year ago, it's finally come out on DVD!
Scrappy, the easiest treatment for infant reflux is to keep the baby as upright as possible for feedings, and for about half an hour afterwards. Also if possible try to feed smaller amounts more often (tricky if the baby is breastfed since you can never tell *exactly* how much they're getting.)
Their ped should also be able to recommend an antacid and give them info on dosing.
