Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I was annoyed that I woke up at 7:30, but I guess I don't really have a leg to stand on here. And now I feel bad that I haven't had any produce for breakfast, but the bacon was calling too loud!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I was up at around 7, but I'm thinking of going back to sleep. I need to message my friend's fiance to call me when she's ready to shop. I also don't want to miss the market in Deep Ellum.

Mmm... bacon won out over lettuce and zucchini? Shocking!

I think I'm headed back to bed. Maybe.

For breakfast, really bacon won over bluberries. And I loooove blueberries.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm up because Matilda is still in our bed and has over the last several nights developed a nasty habit of reaching for a handful of hair and then doing a simultaneous yank/pull that instantly jolts me wide awake, rageful and writhing with pain. I stayed in bed for a while on the principle that lying down is less restful than sleeping but more restful than being up and about, but I gave up about twenty minutes ago.

Throbbing hand is no good, Kat. Also no good is people who win auctions and dawdle on paying.

HA! I wasn't going to bring up the blueberries.

I love them too. I should go have blueberries. (Thing I learned... blueberries do not blend as well as in a Vitamix as you'd expect). The skins stay.... well...skinny-bitted. The flax seeds take like 4 minutes to blend completely but the blueberries never do.

JZ, are you and Matilda available sometime around August 7th or 8th? We are going to be SF (the reverse of our trip to Seattle) and would love to see you.

Yes, we'll be here. It's a playdate!

And, hey! You can go through the box of clothes I can never seem to get my shit together enough to mail!

I need to stop using all the exclamation marks and try to get some sleep before daylight proper arrives.

Bacon wins over most breakfast choices for me. Hence, I do not buy it often. I had oatmeal and now wish I'd had blueberries for it. I need to get to the farmers market one of these days. Next year I'm doing CSA, because, kind of jealous of all you people right now.

Have to work at noon. Was going in early, but I woke up with a headache. Yesterday went from mid-stress, to low-stress, to super-high (for no reason, it turns out), to low again. That kind of thing seems to trigger me a headache. And caffeine and Excedrin usually cure it, thank goodness. Think I'll go get a second cup of coffee, speaking of.
