"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My family often enjoys a trip to the cemetary. Ooh, I should suggest that for a grandmotherly outing soon.

When I was living in a trailer park in Oregon (about age 5) we lived near a graveyard that had apple trees in it. I'd go there with an older boy (age 9) and we'd climb the trees and eat green apples in the graveyard.

Best name seen today: Valdemer Jorgensson! A mighty Viking name.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We like Mount Auburn.

We like Mount Auburn.

I've been there! My gothish Boston girlfriend liked to wander around there.

Emmett and I wound up talking a lot about what kind of tombstone I'd like.

I've never much liked the trend towards cremation because you don't have graveyards for one thing. And I always liked the idea of visiting a grave, but my mom's ashes are scattered somewhere on Biscayne Bay.

Emmett said, "It's weird because in a cemetery you're surrounded by death, but it's making me think about Matilda's life. I wonder what she's going to be like. I want to see her grow up. Being in a cemetery makes you think about things that you don't usually think about."

Stripping again. But just little bits tonight, trying to clean up the capblock.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

And Emmett has it in one!

Ugh, can I just homeschool various buffista sprog via Skype et. al., in between my strenuous lounging acts?

Okay, but there will have to be a lot of graveyard picnics.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aw, Emmett.

brillig

I adore Emperor Norton and the way the Bay Area cooperated with his worldview.

That is dandy with me, Hec. I prefer experiential learning, anyhoo.

God, I wonder if there's a market for that -- tutoring homeschooled kids in my areas.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My grandfather was cremated, and the cremains (fave word!) were buried in a family plot.
