Okay, hivemind... question for you:
I'm looking for glass storage bowls as someone has finally guilted me into no longer using leachy plastic in the microwave (and a good idea not to use it in the freezer where it cracks anyway).
I like the 2 cup Pyrex bowls, but do any of you have any other recs? (I used the Crate and Barrel ones for the year I lived in Philly and the lids sucked....)
Kat, I have some of glass bowls and they are nice. They are a bit more expensive but I think most PC stuff has a warranty. They have a 2-cup set as as well as the 1 cup set of six.
Huh, Cashmere, that looks really similar to what my husband and I have been looking for. I love our Pyrex, but people seem to sell it in sets of assorted size, not sets of all one size.
Yeah, I was just wondering who I know who sells that stuff -- I'm sure there's someone, and those bowls look perfect.

The lids are still plastic, but you could always put a plate over them for the microwave.

Here's something you can do with your frozen bananas: Purée them and make [something vaguely like] ice cream out of them!
I'm a bit like Dana in that I don't want a bunch of different sizes. I want a bunch of 2 cup bowls... those look promising.
Tom, I've made that ice cream. If you like banana, it's actually shockingly good and ice-creamy without the cream.
