we woke up and the house is still here! as is yard!
not the best night sleep I've ever had, thanks cats and mac. But good to know that I can lower the A/C WAY down at night due to the ceiling fans. mac and I both got cold in the night and eventually turned the fan off.
Wireless from the bedroom works in the kitchen. bliss. now coffee, breakfast and I am going to try to get in some yardwork before the heat gets unbearable.
Or maybe I should try to emulate msbelle with all the doing of stuff. Yeah, actually, no "maybe" about that. Have fun in your new yard!
I am working! Kind of exciting...
YAY Still there house! Way to go!
I have to go to the dentist this morning, to consult with the endodontist, to see if my root canal needs to be redone.

Jilli, I think correcting the ex-husband on his wrongheadedness is fine but consider that it might not take and there might be visitation issues. How old is the son? How often does he visit with his father? The boy might have to tame down his gothiness during visits with his father to maintain a little harmony. But yay on the mother for supporting him and asking you for advice!

Congrats on the house and the move, msbelle! Hopefully mac and his feline siblings will adjust quickly.
This morning, it looked they were closing the road close to my house that I use on my commute. This the route I take for a detour to get around the road closed on my detour for the on-ramp that's closed. If this is closed I'll have to have a detour for my detour of my detour of the on-ramp.
I see I've blamed this on "they", well, since it's causing trouble, I think it's safe to assume "they" are AT&T.
I have achieved a tiny bit of yardwork. I pulled up one bit of what I am calling monkey grass, I am sure it has a real name, from the main area of the backyard. And now I need to plant it in a flowerbed that was mostly empty. Only moving them a few feet. The problem is the flowerbed is getting direct sunlight and I am a delicate flower, so I am re-charging a bit.
I am taking before and after pictures each morning that I do yardwork.
