Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I figure the scar tissue from CC keeps a lot of kids from being hurt by razor blades in halloween candy.

Hee.

Because books.

I want to thank you all for my urgent Cap'n Crunch craving. Damn.

Right? And I don't even have anything close to satisfying that craving.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Dammit, the bag of tater tots I bought Monday has a hole punched in the back. It's probably OK since they've been frozen, but I just can't make myself eat food from compromised packaging.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Tamarind balls eat your mouth up? You clearly did not grow up on Cap'n Crunch Bowl o' Glass.

Fixed.

ION, Darb did awesome at the dog park today. It's been closed since I got her.

The park system closes it for a few weeks every year to replant the grass, etc. (It's fenced, and they put up barriers at the entrances.) This year it's been closed since mid-May, apparently mostly due to neighborhood jostling between the dog people, kid people, and gardeners. There was a community meeting last night that I couldn't go to because it was our first day of dog class. It's big neighborhood drama that I'm hoping to get more involved in. But anyway, it's back open.

But ANYWAY. First time at the dog park. She was so excited to be on the grass and play with other dogs. She wasn't off-leash since I'm not ready to go there yet. But had so much fun meeting dogs and jumping around a bit. Total spaz. But excited as she was, not overly aggressive about it, and kept coming back and leaning on me to ground herself or something. Which is huge, both emotionally for me but also in terms of my hopes for her to be able to be off leash but still controllable. And she was letting other dog owners pet her head and stuff without flinching (much) or backing away.

Because books.

Aw, Darb! I love hearing these stories.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy Birthday Zenkitty and Ouise!

Welcome home, msbelle and mac!

Those vintage LGBT photos are beautiful and awesome. Facal recognition being what it is, I need to go link a few that made me jump, a bit.

Go pup!

OK, it was a thin layer left, time to strip paint and make a holy mess.
