I just saw a news blurb on the elevator that said some group had sent a list of alleged illegal immigrants to authorities in Utah-including their social security numbers. The blurb must be leaving out something, because otherwise?
Yeah, all sorts of personal data was included. And at least some of the people were not illegal immigrants.

I went with a college friend who was a Swiss citizen but had a student visa to get a SSN so she could do a work-study job on campus. (Boy was it boring.)
