I was just thinking that about msbelles pantry, that I never have so much stuff in mine!! Of course, when I moved I threw out half of the paltry amount in mine because it was expired, so there's good reason.
Natter 66: Get Your Kicks.

I think of msbelle's pantry as bigger on the inside, like the TARDIS.
I will say, hearing msbelle's pantry exploits encouraged me to cook up some pinto beans that I had. Especially after seeing the sodium content on canned. Yikes. But my pantry will likely never contain as much as hers.
I am trying to be very good and use up bathroom products. Apparently that is where my hoarding impulses have been directed.
I'm good at not buying gobs of stuff, and getting rid of super old spices. I learned my lesson in my last apartment when we were hit with those nasty moths. I tried shaking out some cayenne powder, but none would come. I took off that sifter top and discovered that the entire jar was STUFFED with some kind of web kind of thing. GROSS. So, I check spices regularly.
I DO, however, have some beans and things that have been there for too long. Until msbelle's endeavor, it never even occurred to me to find recipes specifically to work through them.
I'm on it.
So, I thinned out some applesauce and sent it through Grace's g-tube (she isn't allergic to that, mango and peaches we know for sure because the OT feeds her super tiny amounts in trying to get her eat by mouth). I think I'm going to introduce new foods to her super slowly and eventually wean off the formula and just blenderize meals instead. MAYBE it will prompt some sort of oh I should eat moment.
But I had this horrible moment of OH SHIT. WHAT IF I BREAK HER? We've had her less than a week.
And my own tummy ACHES right now. Like no good. I blame the quinoa which is supposed to be easy to digest yet my tummy disagrees.
Hmmm... how did this start? Oh yeah, a response to msbelle's magical pantry.
Kat, I just saw more video of Grace walking and giving the high five and it melted me. MELTED ME WITH THE CUTIETUDE!
OMG, I hate pilling this cat. Pink foaming at the mouth. And a serious sulk.
Swelling might be down a bit. But he's refusing to touch the dry food, which really points to a tooth problem. We'll see.
House is clean, time to eat dinner.
Good luck with MK, sara.
Oh MK. No foaming. Poor baby.
Cash, she's pretty funny. She's learning a ton of bad habits at home. When you say "Give kisses" she puts her hand out for you to kiss it as if she were the queen. Kills me. But if you put your fist out and do not say "Give kisses" she just does a fist bump.
I blame the quinoa which is supposed to be easy to digest yet my tummy disagrees.
I don't understand people who say that vegetables and grain are easy to digest, and meat and fat are difficult. I've always found it to be the opposite.
