Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Is there some little useful-but-not-necessary-item that you lack, whose very lack bedevils you to the point of sighing wistfully and saying, "Gee, I really wish I had a [item] ?

House cleaners.

Even better: house elves. And a time thingy. And a winning lottery ticket.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Our wings are not tired.

Now am sad, for have no cake (shameful confession: I can totally take pie or leave it, and mostly choose to leave it; cake is my thing).

We might share a brain but we do not share taste buds, as I am TOTAL PIE CHIK.

-t, it is so nice to see your pixels.

Kat, the horrible situation with medi-cal reminds me of the situation with welfare - there is absolutely NO room for gray areas or for people really making any kind of transition. I am so sorry and I wish I could do something.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Live Aid my brain can grok. It was such an event and it's fixed in my brain as such. Fables of the Reconstruction is boggling me. Albums, especially those that just became a part of "my music" aren't as stamped in time. I am tempted to look and see when other things came out.

Except for no, because my Cure tour t-shirt is turning 21 in less than two months*. It can nearly legally drink. (*Yes, I actually tracked the concert date down last night. Thank you Google madness.)

Swouncing

Skipping before running out from the computer for the day (even though it's still my yesterday on the board's clock) because according to the Buffista calendar, today is yet another double Buffista event: it's both Ouise's birthday, as well as Zenkitty's.

Happy birthday, Ouise!

Happy birthday, Zenkitty!

With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I really want to answer this question correctly because some things, like say a wire cheese slicer*, are like that but I never feel like buying them when I get in the store. But maybe if I spent the $10 it would save a lot of grief! OTOH, I don't so much need a second food processor to deal with whole onions. Or a Garmin forerunner 305, my year-long acquisition obsession.

* I did get a set of cheese knife/spatulas as a late wedding gift. Each shaped differently for different types of cheeses. They have yet to leave the box.
