Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

They pay me in WOIMS

Woke up with a cold. Nonetheless, I'm at work now.

I hate summer colds.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Went back to sleep, but it was a mistake. It is very hard for me to wake up if I have been awake from 3:00 am - 5:30 am, and the drop dead latest I can get up is 6:45 (which means I get ready in 15 minutes). I just want to keep sleeping.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

smonster, if I'd known they only needed a weekend of training to be a trainer, I might never have gone at all.

Should have warned you. Sorry. Was on a bus and not thinking clearly. But yay for muscle soreness!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm feeling blah (headache, nausea), so I just emailed sick. I told them I'd be online for another ten minutes if they have any questions. If they don't, I'm going back to bed after taking something for this blargh feeling.

Art Crawl!!!

I called in to let my boss know that I was late and when I told her that I fell asleep while getting dressed she said that was a good indication that I shouldn't be at work yet, so I am at home again today.

I need to get up and heat up my heating pad but I am afraid of the pain. Stupid sciatica.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Dear media,

I beg of you, on behalf of BSG fans everywhere, we must come up with a different shorthand for "hydraulic fracturing." Headlines like this are going to kill me:

NY State Senate Leader John L. Sampson (D, Brooklyn) is refusing to allow the fracking moratorium bill onto the Senate floor for a vote.

It's depressing reading about how hard it is to issue a temporary moratorium on deep-water drilling to make sure it's being done safely after this big of an environmental disaster. Not to mention all the articles saying the cost of the moratorium would be a lot worse than another incident like this.

I mean, I know nothing will actually be done to prevent this from happening again, but it's still depressing that not even this sensible a step can be taken.

I give you a stunning picture of Serena Williams. [link] She looks really lovely in it.
