My face is still swollen (post oral surgery). Yesterday I didn't leave the house and was in a pain med haze. Today, I've already showered, dressed, vacuumed, done laundry, and am contemplating the great outdoors.
The farmers market, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Target are calling
I just ordered in lunch from the Mediterranean Deli. After some rain and thunder this morning it's starting to look gorgeous outside. I may go walkabout later.
I had a dream that I was living on a peninsula and there was a giant tsunami. I only saw up to the part where I could see the giant wave coming in my direction. . . then I either woke up or just forgot the rest.
My family abandoned me for the day -- Ben has a double header and I was not up for sitting in a middle school field from 10 to 5. And even though I agreed to clean around the house, I'm thrilled to be ALONE today.
Why do I get so sleepy after noon. Pretty much every afternoon I do not have plans or am not at work, sleep from 1 pm - 4 pm. And I am getting sleepy now....

I am heading to the Farmer's Market too. But first, a shower.
We are having ethiopian food post-church and then there will be an exciting afternoon of laundry and hopefully some ebaying.
Today mac is the king majestic ruler of burpistan.
It was humid and overcast, and I was in a generally headachey crap mood yesterday. About midnight, when I was irritatedly trying to open one of the windows in the bedrooms enough to get a box fan in there, so I could maybe get it cool enough to sleep in there without turning on the Central AC, I remembered I had my sister's old window unit in my trunk.
Popped it in there, turned in on, and I had one of the best night's sleep I have had in a LONG LONG time. I like to sleep cold so I can snuggle under the blankets, and I also think the AC noise and the shutting out of the allergens had a big part to do with it.
So MUCH BETTER. (Course, I also has spent the evening prior to this drinking fro margaritas from a bucket and watching old Buffy eps -- I had 3. They were delicious!)
OK, I'm showered and dressed, dishes are handled, laundry is in. Now I'm waiting for the cat sitter to come, and maybe a walk to my parents' later. I'm feeling so lazy, though! Of course, part of the lazy is due to the overeating I've been doing over the past few days, so a walk would be even more called for...
