You know, I really need a reminder the day of monday morning meetings that only happen once a month. I'm just not going to remember.

Hey tommyrot, I am skippy girl and was wondering how your injury recovery is going.
I'm much better. My neck still gets all stiff (like when I wake up) but applying heat and doing range of motion exercises tends to loosen things up a lot. Right now I can turn my head all the way from one side to the other in about a second, which is a huge improvement. And my bruises are fading (and I'm regretting not getting a picture of the 6" x 6" bruise on my leg when it was hella-ugly).
And I'm now trying to figure out how to get my bike to the shop for repairs (the handlebar and the post it attaches to are bent, and the steering is completely loose).

Bill O’Reilly Humiliates Sarah Palin on Fox News
Sarah Palin made another rash appearance on Bill O’Reilly’s The Factor Friday night, wherein he grilled her about immigration reform. The half-term governor left the FNC program angry and humiliated as O’Reilly exposed Palin’s limited knowledge for the Fox crowd to see.
Word on the street is that if the Republicans don’t want Sarah Palin to run for President, they’re going to let Fox News and Conservative papers go after her. Uh hum. I’m assuming if they were going to let the fur fly, they’d do it on the on the No. 1 cable news show at 8 p.m. for 10 consecutive years . Uh huh. That guy doesn’t think much of herself anyway, so this is all coming together.
...
O’Reilly pressed Sarah on how she would solve the immigration problem, and she answered with, “whatever it takes.” This did not amuse Bill-O who, gasp, actually wanted her to offer a policy solution, and that is where things got testy, because O’Reilly kept pushing , and Palin got angry, and revealed that her solution is to to provide steps for immigration reform, “at some point,” and “keep it simple.” Her answer was a non-answer with no specifics, and a whole lot of anger.
...
Bill-O assaults the half-term governor, leaving her bleeding on the floor like he does the rest of his guests. No special treatment here. Keep an ear out for Bill-O’s “this is where it gets complicated, governor” scolding. This is just cruel. They know she’s not up to these interviews. Where are her people???? He also tells her that he is afraid of her “Mama Grizzlies”. Sigh.
And after this, he has another “panel” on with Leslie Marshall and Dana Perino (please, God, make it stop) to discuss Palin’s failure to answer, her “lack of specifics”. They pretty much finished the half-termer off....

They've only noticed this now?

No, I'm sure they were aware of this before. Palin was useful to Republicans, but now they really don't want her to run for president, as she has a shot of getting the nomination but very little chance of her winning.

It'll only be two years out pretty soon, it's going to be time to start seeing some candidates starting to emerge. Right now I really have no idea who's the Republicans will be running.
Repub primary candidates: Pawlenty, Romney, Palin, and more that I can't think of offhand.
