We went to the Farmer's Market for brunch this morning. Turns out the crepe place sells French press coffee. Yum. Am planning on having brunch at Farmer's Market a lot more often.

I really wish my local market was just a bit better food-wise. That just makes me miss the Montrose market.

The status is NOT quo.

That just makes me miss the Montrose market.

It's right here waiting for you. Just saying.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which Farmer's Market, Burrell?

I am all anxious about work tomorrow. Sheesh. Hopefully Leverage will take the edge off.

I need a better sales pitch than that. You should get together with my future ex-fiancé and work on something.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am all anxious about work tomorrow.

I just have no desire to go. Vacation was too short, and it needs to be September now.

You are welcome, we like doing this stuff, but Matt is usually the one in the know. Tiling was interesting, because neither one of us had done it before - so we read and looked things up and asked questions and finally just had to do it. It worked, but it was a bit scary, because we weren't quite sure.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, I think she means the one on 3rd and Fairfax. you know, the one that gets capitalized as The Farmer's Market.

We went to see a minor league baseball game. SO FUN. Noah ate a disgusting amount of food and Grace stood the entire time. They are both exhausted and then some.

I still have to feed Grace (a bright green blend with broccoli in!) and give her some meds then bed time for me.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Yikes! So, I'm getting re-packed (I've been in Beijing for a week), and my suitcases are sort of on the heavy side but I figured the overweight baggage fee couldn't be toooo bad. $200! That is INSANE. So now my fun task is to figure out what to do. I haven't weighed my bags yet; but I'm fairly sure they are over 50lbs. I already have a decent-sized backpack as my carry-on, but I might have to go buy a duffel bag or something and pretend one of them is a personal item. I'd go get a small rolly suitcase to carry on, but I already have two and I need to be able to carry all my stuff through customs and all at my connection flight in Washington DC.

So... this will be fun times.

Thanks for the travel well-wishes!!
