information libertarian

I peel and mash before freezing, because I usually use my frozen bananas in banana bread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I freeze my bananas in their skins and then peel with a paring knife while thinking that I should have peeled them before freezing. Typically.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Heh -t that would be my experience too.

It's good to know that they don't turn into some kind of fiendish banana monster when frozen pre-peeled. I think I'll peel and skip the mashing.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yesterday we day-tripped Shore Leave, a local, fan-run media con. Decent guests. (Edward James Olmos, Katee Sackoff, Torri Higginson, Kevin Sorbo, Catherine Hicks and Dominic Keating) Attended EJO and Katee Sackoff's talks, and a discussion panel/group on Fringe. Got home late after filking.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Tour de France:

Oh, dear, Armstrong. I think I will be rooting for Leipheimer now. And Schleck.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

So, I'm off to bed here in a minute, and when I wake up, it will be my last full day in China. I'm sort of freaking out about it! I didn't foresee being this sad leaving. I suppose that's a good sign? Being sad leaving a place? I would rather be sad that I'm leaving than be super excited to get out, I think.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Not only LeBron, Calli. There was a lot of schadenfreude aimed at ESPN, too.Which was funny for a while...who doesn't love mocking the bad boss? But he kind of kept it going to the point that even I was like "Well, glad you're over it." He could've ended up *doing* that interview, after all.(Well, actually, he wouldn't, he would stamp those huge feet and quit, probably.) I want David Simon as a Countdown guest. Surface differences aside, I think they would feel like brothers from another mother. The Eastern seaboard would experience an outrage shortage, though.

So....paint stripping is revolting looking and a lot of work. And I've almost gone through a quart of the stuff and that's just the endpost. I will be sanding, not stripping, the spindles. Eating a banana and then I'm going swimming. And then out for more dropcloth, stripper and sandpaper.
