Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

You needed somebody on the radio to tell you to turn over every half hour.

At home we used kitchen timers, but being on vacation and in the middle of the reservoir, no one had a watch let alone a clock.

My sister's back burn was so severe that whenever she'd get a tan in subsequent summers, the freckles would appear everywhere except where her straps were during that burn. It wasn't until 15 years later when she was on her first Caribbean cruise and got tons of sun that those strap marks finally went away.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

My best summer memories are after the screened in porch was built. Early summer days hulling mountains of strawberries we had just picked . Dark summer nights with crickets and bullfrogs singing and fireflies flickering

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hmm. My flight to NYC is now scheduled to land one minute after my flight from NYC is scheduled to take off.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

In NE Oklahoma and a red tailed hawk just flew into our window. Now hopping with hurt wing. Humane society said call Game Warden. Anybody know of anyone else that might help hurt hawks?

Thanks!

Jet Blue gate agents are still claiming we are going to be on time, despite what the web site says, and what reality would suggest (we are scheduled to leave in 20 minutes, and still no plane). We shall see.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

But, you had to get a good burn to lay a foundation for the rest of the summer tan.

This makes me want to cry in pain!

The bulk of my summer memories are based in Cape Cod (North Truro and Provincetown), Schroon Lake in the Lake George area in NY (my great aunt and uncle owned a house up there for years), and the swimming pool at my grandparents' country club.
