Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
So, I don't really want to get into it at all, but it's possible that I am single now. Or, will be very soon. And I don't need brackets or hugs or anything said, really, it's just that I've been part of a couple now for 3.5 years and it's really, really hard to just kind of undo it. It's possible it's not undone, but it likely is. Please forgive the nature of my posting some intensely personal and then not really wanting to discuss it further.
My boyfriend is a really wonderful guy in a multitude of ways but I don't think it's working out and it's breaking my heart and it sucks. I don't know if this is going to mean that I get quiet for a few months, or if it will mean the opposite. I know I moved to Oakland to be closer to him and most of my friends live in the City or the peninsula so I feel extremely isolated all of a sudden. Anyway.
When you need us, we are here.
No brackets or hugs, just listening and being respectful of whatever you need to do and say, or not. And vibes for wisdom and good decision-making.
Sorry, didn't mean to kill the thread. I'll probably go back and delete at some point.
So, I am headed to a 21-year-old's birthday tomorrow (daughter of my "cousin"). I am bringing, as a gift, 21 different bottles of beer, a $21 gift card to Starbucks and a $21 gift card for iTunes. A 21-year-old would like these gifts, yes?
oh javachick, that sucks. I'm sorry. I hope things go better than you think they will.
Oh, Java. Here's a good stiff drink for you, love.
no need to delete- unless you want to
not a thread killer, it has been quiet all night

Hell yeah!
I was just reading somebody's rather edenic summer memories.
I remember reading Daisy's fond stories of summers spent with her grandparents.
Anybody, want to share some summer stories? Homemade ice cream, long bicycle rides, floating downriver on inner tubes, rope swings, tree houses, coming home with library books, late dinners on the back porch, fireflies, listening to baseball on the radio...
What have you got?
Those sound like perfect gifts for a 21 year old. I'll have to remember that for when Kelly turns 21 (less than a year now).
No hugs or brackets, but lots of love to ya.
