Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm having an Anything Can Happen Thursday, and not in a pleasant way. We stopped in bat country.

Jesus Christ, get in the car!

To a bar.

Or afar.

...

It really needs to cool down. I miss sanity.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

[I] am wondering if there is any reason to obfuscate one's identity on [Skype].

--Can your profile be seen by folks other than the ones you call?

bonnie, Skype profiles are searchable, but you can put as much or as little in your profile as you like. I don't know of any reason you couldn't create multiple accounts, if you felt the need.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I want to try a Toronto, that sounds up my alley. Guessing it would be not dissimilar to a Manhattan.

I just have to point out that this kind of thinking is what puts all the tv production in Canada!

I just (finally) met my current favorite small-world connection: both a friend from grad school and Consuela suggested I meet her! So we talked shop, and fandom.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

DJ, is marrying "Macon" a good thing? Or a not-good thing?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe if I had some food in me I'd be dealing better? I need to go home, hydrate, cry, and read about fictional people doing very dirty things to each other. Why can't Eureka and White Collar have started yet?

Oh, god, going home. At least my pain meds have been refilled, after an email and two chasing phone calls. I hate to nag, except if I don't, well, pain.

I think eating generally helps one's outlook on the world, even if it doesn't help the rest of everything.
