I just ran Female Morgans and Male Morgans through Wolfram Alpha and there are indeed more female Morgans than male.

Crap, it hurts to Alt-Tab.

I have to say, I completely agree with this list. Especially, #4. The internet has killed civil discourse. But it has not killed brick and mortar shopping, as predicted. Does that make it a wash?

WRT the suicide while sleepwalking article: a few years ago I saw a documentary on people who've killed or tried to kill someone in their sleep. Freaky.
Oh, for fucks sake. My boss told me explicitly and specifically to do something, so I just did it, without researching the files. Had I looked through the files first, I would have realized what a huge mistake it was. Eh. This is why I prefer not doing anything!
That's highly annoying, Jesse. "Don't blame me, the boss made me do it!"
But it has not killed brick and mortar shopping, as predicted.
Well, it's certainly made a big dent in bookstores and record stores. Though not comic book stores. Hmmmm. I guess if you could get your whole pull list done as a bundle that might be cost efficient.

I think I still have some time to play new and stupid, but I would prefer not to have to fake that! I mean, it's real enough of the time as it is.
Comics are hard to sell via mail. I remember reading a copy of Mad from the 1950s where William Gaines had to patiently explain why a subscription cost more than the newsstand price.
What makes selling comics online especially difficult is that they're not returnable; it makes it extremely hard to scale up your business. If you under- or overestimate your demand, you're screwed.
