I am in geek heaven tonight. We went to see our friend Jon's show. It's called USS Pinafore and is a retelling of Gilbert and Sullivan set in the world of Star Trek. It was funny and well-performed and we are so proud of Jon, who wrote and directred it. But the best part that Nichelle Nichols was there! And we sat right next to her! And she loved the show!

My name is Perkins, and I have a groupon problem.

Heh. I just had to buy a bunch off my friend who's leaving town next week.

I already have a bunch I need to use up, and I bought yesterday's (High tea, but I've already made my reservation for that, with added Matilda, and her mom too) and today's (Spa services at a super chichi spa in SF).

Like I said, I have a problem.

Those sound good, though! I mean, like things you would want to do anyway.

I've got a ton I need to use. But yesterday I actually used a massage one, and there was some kind of drilling going on in the background. Normally that would bug the shit out of me but for some reason I was able to totally tune it out. But because of it, they're giving me another massage free. Awesome!

Nice! I am about ready for a massage. Maybe this week!

Oh yeah, it's all stuff I want to do, like the wine train, or the drag brunch, but I need to be better about to finding time to do them.

I let one Groupon expire, but used another last week for a painting class. The expired one still annoys me, though, so I'm on a Groupon hiatus.

After I bought my first groupon, none have been anything I want or convenient.

I hope the boy I'm seeing is ready to move into the Groupon stage of our relationship....
